OUR MISSION!
The mission of the Pennsylvania Alliance for Geographic
Education is to enhance citizenship education by improving geographic literacy.












 BE A PART OF IT!     Any educator K-16 who has an interest in geographic education is encouraged to register on this site to become part of the Pennsylvania Alliance for Geographic Education. The Alliance will hold statewide and regional workshops, teacher exchange meetings, and nominate teachers for state and national projects in support of National Geographic initiatives.  Membership is easy.  Registration is a two part process.  When you click on the link below and enter your information, you will receive an email to complete the process.  To begin - Register here.
 
WE A NOT ALONE!    The Pennsylvania Alliance for Geographic Education is the National Geographic Education Foundation's outreach arm in the Commonwealth.  To better serve the public, the Alliance is organized into eight geographic regions.   Although regions are used to communicate locally with interested educators, any workshops and training opportunies may overlap the regional designations.

PROMOTE GEOGRAPHY EDUCATION!    The Pennsylvania Alliance for Geographic Education is pleased to be part of a national campaign to promote geographic literacy - My Wonderful World.
